Vehicle Description

1927 Buick Master Six is an Australian-market vehicle that was imported into the U.S. after World War II. It has been with the seller for 20 years. Power from the rebuilt original 274ci inline-six engine is delivered to the road through a three-speed manual transmission. Features include electric headlights, reconditioned wood-spoke wheels, and cowl lamps. Finished in Black Cherry Metallic and black and equipped with a black roof over a blue and gray cloth interior, this Buick is available now and comes with a clear Arkansas title in the seller’s name.
The body was originally blue and was reportedly stripped to bare metal and refinished in Black Cherry Metallic and black in approximately 2015. Features include chrome headlight rings, a chrome radiator shell, a Boyce MotoMeter radiator cap, a four-piece hood with louvers, cowl lamps, a windshield visor, dual side mirrors, a black vinyl roof, and a rear-mounted spare tire. The seller notes that the rear passenger-side window is broken and needs replacement.
The original 12-spoke wooden wheels with steel rims are wrapped in 6.00 x 21 bias-ply tires. The seller states that the spokes on the wheels were reconditioned in approximately 2005.
A set of later-model seats have been added to the front and rear of the interior. The front bench seat is upholstered in two-tone blue cloth and the rear bench is upholstered in gray vinyl and cloth. Interior features include carpeting, manual steering and brakes, manual windows, a floor-mounted manual shifter, right-hand-drive steering, and a four-spoke steering wheel with a wood grip. The seller notes door panels and other interior components need to be installed.
The odometer was reset at the time of the engine rebuild and currently reads 550 miles. The true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
Power is provided by the rebuilt original 274ci inline-six engine and backed by a three-speed manual transmission. During the engine rebuild, new aluminum pistons and new bearings were installed. Underhood features include black engine block paint, an orange valve cover, a single-barrel carburetor, electric fuel pump, cast iron intake and exhaust manifolds, a chrome air cleaner, and an electric horn. The seller reports a new radiator was installed in 2007 and the gas tank was rebuilt around the same time.
This Buick was originally equipped with a solid front axle and a solid rear drive axle. A single exhaust system exits at the rear.
