1931 Ford 4 door Model A Murray EXCELLANT CONDITION!! This is one of the last years of the Ford Model A production, a 1931 all metal 4 door Model A Murray. I was told by the previous owner that it was primarily used for parades and special occasions like weddings. I suppose that is probably one of the reasons for it having turn signals, seat belts and an adjustable front bench seat. The cars engine is in great condition with each of the four cylinders measuring between 84 to 85 psi with absolutely no bleed down pressure. It has a Nu-Rex distributor with a drilled center shaft to provide a way to lubricate the distributors upper bushing. It has a Leak-less Water Pump and I just rebuilt the two-tooth steering box with upgraded roller bearings and shaft seal to prevent it from leaking like the originals do. It has a brand new battery and I will include the batterys smart charger with the sale. I recently also installed a brand new alternator that works much better then the old generator. I insulated the firewall to keep the heat out and installed a small fuse box under the hood. The most recent maintenance work that was done includes new spark plugs, complete grease job and all the fluids changed (Engine, Transmission and Rear End). The brake drums were removed and the pads all look like brand new. Wheel bearings were also like new and repacked as needed with Timken wheel bearing grease. I rebuilt the carburetor and had all 5 tires (including the spare) spin balanced. The paint and interior work is absolutely stunning and the car actually looks even better in person then the photos.
