Body/Paint: The car was built before aftermarket parts and or fiberglass became available. All original Henry steel, full fendered unchopped 3 window. The roof is unfilled, functional cowl, front and rear glass. Side hood covers come with the car. The body is in really good condition with a few small dings, but very solid. Firewall is polished aluminum which is original when built in 63 The paint is original since it was painted and first done as a Hot Rod in 63. Single stage lacquer custom mix lime green metallic with slightly darker fenders. The paint has not been touched up and shows the normal wear over the last 55 years with a few scraps here and there. The paint has a very cool patina appeal to it. Over all the paint is in really good shape after all these years. New gas tank. New wiring.
Interior: The interior is primarily original with new bottom edge door carpet and main carpet replaced about 7 years ago along with the trunk with German square weave. The vinyl is in remarkable condition for its age and is very comfortable. Drivers side visor. SW speedo along with SW Green line gauges original when finished. The gauges look like new and all work except the speedo, no tach. Old Muntz 8 track player, two speakers mounted behind the seat on the package shelf. Multi CD player mounted in truck with AMP box with CD player control pod. Antenna mounted on right side just above the running board. When the car was built it has a van style steering column like a bucket T. It was replaced with a 70’s GM tilt and 70’s vintage wood trimmed Grant chrome steering wheel. Seat belts added.
Running Gear: 350 4 bolt main 3970010 block rebuilt 5 years ago with only a couple hundred miles, polished aluminum intake with new FAST throttle body fuel injection. MSD distributor, box mounted under dash, ceramic coated shorty headers, chrome oil pan. TH350 with shift kit, trans cooler and chrome pan. Rear end is a 63/64 Corvette originally installed when the car was built. New aluminum radiator with shroud and electric puller fan 4 years ago. Electric fuel pump. Vega steering box side mount set up.
Suspension: Original 32 frame boxed in a couple of areas in very good condition. Tube style dropped straight axle with 4 link set up when installed in the 80’s. Rear suspension is all Corvette. Chrome front shocks.
Bright work: All original from the time it was built in 63 with great patina.
Glass: Tinted. Driver’s door glass has a couple of cracks. All other glass in good condition.
Exhaust: Recent exhaust.
Brakes: Non power disc front brakes with new pads, drum rear. Chevy pattern.
Wheels/Tires: Original Daisy aluminum wheels that were power coated not long ago. Tires are 6 year old radials. 195/60/15 front and 255/70/15 rear
