The upgraded powertrain consists of a smooth and reliable LT-1 350 V8 that passes the torque to a 4L60-E 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, then back to a Ford rear end with 3.50 gears. Additional features include a Vega cross steering box, a Super Bell 4" drop axle, front wheel disc brakes, Chassis Engineering sway bar and leaf springs, a Tanks Inc. fuel tank with in-tank pump, 1935 wire wheels, Flaming River steering column, Stewart Warner gauges, Nu-Relics power windows, and Vintage Air A/C.
