The PT series was Plymouths first attempt at building trucks, and they were well received by the public for their style, performance and durability. The 1939 model was the last year of the PT series before World War II halted production. The 1939 model featured a new grille design, a longer wheelbase, and a more powerful 201-cid inline 6-cylinder engine with PT 81 stamp. This engine produced 82 horsepower and was paired with a 3-speed manual transmission.This truck has been well maintained and cared for by its previous owners and is now part of a private collection a low mileage classic vehicles.
