Vehicle Description

1951 Lincoln Baby Lido Coupe Driven 2,021 miles. My 1951 Missing Linc. Powered by a 1957 354 Chrysler Industrial Hemi and a nice four speed automatic transmission. Truly Im in love. But its time for it to find a new home. This incredible creation was lovingly hand-built by the famous but now deceased Midwestern car builder named Russell Porter. He was also known as Mr Metal. This car is like no other. Perhaps the closest resemblance is the amazing Hirohata Mercury that sold not too long ago at Mecum auctions for over $2 million dollars. Its an incredibly comfortable ride with its Electric split bench seat. It has electric windows, power steering, and power brakes. Has a nice stereo with a backup camera. The ride is confident and comfortable. It has more than enough power although it is not a screaming hot rod. The Chrysler Hemi is a relatively loud engine with mechanical noises. This is normal for this type of engine. There are so many body modifications I wouldnt know where to start. The hood scoops and the Mercury grill light up blue when the headlights are put on. 1953 Buick headlights. Flamethrowers which Ive never used. Right now the front seat is from a later model Lincoln Continental. I have the original front seat. The comfort of the current seat is outstanding. However it is not color matching the rest of the interior. So this would need to be redone or leave it as is. Again the original seat in white will be provided and you can see a picture of it in the provided pictures.
