This is a beautiful example of a classic 57 Chevy Bel Air convertible.
The car has the original floors and body panels which are in great shape. It was repainted in 2003 along with new interior and all of the stainless was repaired and polished also. The factory 283 4barrel was rebuilt and has a very mild cam with newer intake and carburetor. The power glide was replaced with a new 700R4 automatic overdrive transmission. The rearend was completely rebuilt and all bearings and seals replaced along with fresh gears. This car looks original but is an awesome cruiser. Car rides and drives like new and at 70-75 mph down the road. Has all new tinted windshield and side glass. All new weather striping. New gauges from Classic Instruments. Modern radio with factory Power antenna. Car is manual steering and manual brakes but steers and stops better than most cars I have had. Car drives better than it looks. Paint has a few blemishes due to its age but would still consider it to be an 8 out 10. Power Convertible top is new and all hydraulic parts and lines have been replaced. If you have been looking for your dream convertible then this is it. I would not hesitate to drive this car across country it drives that nice.
