Being offered at less than what it costs to build. Built 1957 Chevy Townsman. My intention with this car was to have something with patina, that I could take the family out in. Fresh (less than 10 miles on it) 383 stroker, .060 over, with forged pistons, aluminum heads, roller rockers, new Edelbrock carb, Aluminum radiator, and high amp alternator. 700r4 transmission, with new 3.73 gears in the diff. Air Ride suspension, sitting on 20" Detroit Steel wheels with new 245/40ZR20 tires. Full custom sound system with 2 amps, 2 subs with custom made enclosure, retro style radio with bluetooth, and door speakers. Beautiful, custom made red diamond stitched interior. Ididit tilt steering column. Vintage Air A/C. Runs and drives perfectly. 4 wheel disc brakes, with 2-link rear suspension. 3 point seat belts up front, and lap belts in the rear. ALL brand new glass and seals. We've taken this build as far as we want to go, and although we would cruise it just like this, we are offering an opportunity for someone to buy this car at far less than what it would take to get to this level, and add some of their own touches.
THE BAD: Bags on the driver side start to lower on their own. Probably a fitting somewhere. Carburetor needs someone that knows what they're doing to adjust it. Does have some rust, mostly surface, but it has rust on the lower doors, tailgate, and drip rail along the rear of the car. I have someone coming in to look at the carb, and will update the listing when it's done.
