This auction is for one 1959 Chevrolet Impala Convertible.
Snowcrest white paint with red interior, exactly the way this car came from the factory in 1959.
The car has a older restoration wich I don’t know the date to but it has been upgraded and restored during the last couple of years as well. For example the 348-motor was removed from the car and completely re-built and the transmission was upgraded to a 700R transmission about 10 years ago by the previous owner.It runs and shifts very smooth, it always starts and never overheats.
Drives on the freeway with ease and low gas consumption.
This car has only been driven during on special occasions during summertime and has always been stored in a heated and dry garage during winters and it shows.
Very solid car.The floors, rockers and trunk is solid with no rust.
It has some small areas on top of the rear wheel wells and one small spot under the left taillight and a small spot under the front bumper on the driver side that isn’t perfect. Apart from that the body is solid.
The chrome and stainless on the car is in very good shape.
The black convertible top is in good shape with no tears or cracks, top goes up and down with ease.
All gauges work like they should except for the clock.
