This 1962 Innocenti 950 Spider
The blue-finished bodywork is mounted over an Austin-Healey Sprite Mark II chassis and running gear, which includes a 948cc inline-four mated to a four-speed manual transmission. A refurbishment was reportedly carried out under previous ownership, and the car is fitted with white vinyl upholstery, a dash-mounted rear-view mirror, and Veglia gauges.
Styled by Ghia and based on the contemporary Austin-Healey Sprite, this Innocenti was reportedly repainted in blue under previous ownership. Brightwork includes chrome bumpers, a driver’s side mirror, door handles, and side trim, while other equipment consists of a navy soft top and a centrally-mounted reverse light.
Painted 13″ steel wheels are fitted with chrome Innocenti hubcaps and 145/80 Orium Touring radial tires with 2020 date codes. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.
The low-backed bucket seats and door panels are trimmed in white vinyl with matching piping, while black carpets line the floors and rear parcel shelf. Body-color sheet metal is exposed on the dashboard and door panels, and interior amenities include a dash-mounted rear-view mirror and Innocenti badging adorning a bottom-hinged glovebox.
A black two-spoked steering wheel frames Veglia instrumentation consisting of a 160-km/h speedometer, a tachometer, auxiliary gauges, and a five-digit odometer showing 17k kilometers (~11k miles). True mileage is unknown.
The 948cc A-Series inline-four produced 47 horsepower when new and is fed by twin SU carburetors.
A four-speed manual transmission routes power to a solid rear axle, and additional photos of underside are viewable in the gallery below.
