Hence the European headlights, four on the floor transmission, power-steering, Becker Europa TR radio and other European features.
It was used regularly and maintained by second owner, however, no effort was made to restore the car’s appearance.
The interior, chrome, paint and convertible top suffered from the passage of time and regular use. In 2005, when the car was purchased by the current owner, it was in running order but was in need of restoration.
In 2007 the transmission was overhauled and the woodwork on the dashboard and windshield frame were restored. Then in 2011 the current owner decided to proceed with a full restoration which included paint, chrome, interior leather and carpet, convertible top and headliner, electrical wiring, brakes, exhaust system, ancillaries, as well as engine removal and overhaul.
Every effort and expense was made to use materials that represented factory new quality specifications.
