64 Pontiac LeMans GTO tribute 428 CI TH400 AT Car PS PBPHS documentation says this car was born a LeMans 326 AT Blue WITHOUT the GTO option. Features now include the 67 Catalina 428 ci rebuilt , TH400. and GTO badging. Engine features are 1967 YH, 9786135, 670 heads, matched pistons .30 over, street cam, high test pump gas, stainless valve seats, Edelbrock intake and carb., along with exhaust headers and HEI distributor. This engine is healthy, runs strong, and idles nice and stays cool. There are about 2k miles on the engine rebuild. The three speed auto makes a nice combo. Disc brakes in the front for peace of mind using dual master cylinder. Front and rear sway bars and boxed rear axle control arms with new bushings are nice along with stiffer coil springs and shock helper springs. The body is a dry CA body that was stripped to bare metal before getting two quarter rear partial lower panels and the three-piece trunk floor mig welded in. The windshield and back glass areas were rust free but reworked to bare metal with new clips. The hood is steel rust free. All new weatherstripping everywhere and glass run channels and sweeps, vent windows, etc. Tweed interior was done by a professional trim shop.
