The project started with a beautiful donor car (see the white car in the photos below) that was already in great shape. The donor car was completely stripped down and the chassis was media-blasted and powder-coated. While the body was being prepared for paint, a long list of the best parts were ordered and the chassis was built. It started with a full Ridetech coil-over suspension, along with Ridetech's IRS system with custom third-member housing. The heart of the build is an all-aluminum Chevy fuel injected LS3 engine mated to a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission. A huge Wilwood disc brake kit with Hydro Boost was installed to ensure it would stop just as well as it would go. The body was finished is a deep, dark black paint and the rest of the build was completed. Some of the other build highlights are the custom leather interior, the must-have side pipes, and the white-lettered BFGoodrich tires with the right amount of rake to give it the perfect stance. The end result is the perfect amount of what makes the 1964 Corvette a timeless classic, along with the very best modern components to make it run and drive like a new Muscle car.
