Description You are bidding on the Holy Grail of 1st generation mustang convertibles, this is a 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang convertible in "Caspian blue" D-Code 4v 289 V8 with factory4-Speed toploader transmission, center console, Rally Pac (Functional), Am/Fm Radio (functional) & Power convertible top (functional). This has been a family owned car since new, we have all the originaldocuments like window sticker, bill of sale etc. Please check the scan of the documentsin the pictures section.What can I say there is no better feeling than dropping the top and taking her on a cruise, this is a very original example of what it is like to drive a convertible mustang back in 1964, this is the originalengine and transmission and she runs and drives like a dream I've made local commutes to over 100 miles or so and have had no problem whatsoever. The car was purchased in Kentucky but she spent all of her life here in Southern California, so there is virtually little to no rust on this beauty. Whenever she was not in use she was in the garage, the body is in excellent condition I believe it was painted once in the 90's and then recently withinthe last year.I just cant believe were actually selling her, but due to some unforeseenfinancial issues we are forced to let her go, I'm hoping she goes to someone who will love her and take care of her just like we did.
