1965 Mustang GT convertible. I have owned it for 5 years and have put approx 1100 miles on it during that time. I bought it from the previous owner in West Virginia. Prior to that through my research it had a full restoration back in the 90's in the Carolinas and had minimal miles put on it during the 20 plus years post restoration. Originally a 4 speed car, it was changed to automatic when restored per the owners wife who did not want the 4 speed. Fortunately, most all the 4 speed parts were kept with the car and passed on as seen in the one photo. The trans itself (HEH-BT) was even restored by VSM Classics in Woodbine, MD. All of the the transmission parts go with the car in case you want to convert it back. When I got the car I had the original Autolite 4100 restored by KP Carbs in New York. I installed a new gas tank, fuel pump, HD Radiator, hoses, water pump and heater core. The car runs cool and does not overheat. I took the AC parts off when we did the cooling system restoration and never got around to putting them back on but they all go with the car. The car runs great and drives without any issues. I would not hesitate to go on a 200 mile trip in it. It is a real GT with the correct steering gear box, sway bar, disc brakes, correct exhaust mounts, fog lights, etc. Everything works (except the clock). Options include: Power steering, power top, GT package, Factory AM-FM radio, Tinted windshield (Carlite), dual mirrors, all 5 seat belts, bench seat, 5 styled steel wheels, rear luggage rack, open letter Cobra valve covers, chrome HiPo air cleaner, K code engine cooling fan and spacer. There is no rust anywhere on this car. All the chrome and stainless is beautiful. There are a few paint chips but overall this car is ready for show and go. I am only selling as I am downsizing my car collection as I still have 2 other convertible Mustangs and don't have time to enjoy them all. Color of car is Springtime Yellow.
