This 1965 Ford Mustang convertible was purchased in 2010 and went through a complete restoration that was finished in 2020. Restoration involved the replacement of body panels, including cowls and floors, repainting, a new interior, a new top, all new wiring, a new suspension, a rebuilt engine, anda rebuilt drivetrain. All areas of rust were repaired, and the doors, floor, valances, headlight housings, grill, bumpers, and exterior lights were replaced. The car is equipped with 16" American Racing wheels, power front disc brakes, Borgeson power steering, and an electronic ignition system. The interior is black and white vinyl with a front bench seal, GT-style gauges, and a wood-rimmed steering wheel. The engine was rebuilt and bored 0030" over with new pistons, camshafts, bearings, gaskets, and rebuilt cylinder heads.
