This 1965 Mercury Comet Caliente convertible whose DSO code indicates a “special order” making it very rare, is finished in light blue over a blue vinyl interior and powered by an A-code 289ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a dark blue convertible top, a matching top boot, quad headlights, 14″ styled steel wheels with whitewall tires, a heater and defroster, and a wood-rim steering wheel.Originally finished in Polar White, the car was repainted in its current shade of blue under previous ownership and features bright trim along the rocker panels and wheel arches. Additional exterior details include stacked headlights, immaculate chrome bumpers, a driver-side mirror, and tri-color fender badging.
