This is a true Carroll Shelby Continuation Series 6000 - 427 S/C Cobra from Shelby Automobiles, Inc. and is chassis number CSX6066. Since the unfortunate passing of Mr. Shelby, the market has recognized the strong collector value of these timeless classics.
The car was stored until early 2017 when it was completed by being fitted with a 427 big bock built from a period correct Ford side-oiler block with forged pistons, hydraulic cam, 428 crank, Edelbrock alloy heads and intake, roller rockers, PerTronix distributor, 780 Quick Fuel carburetor with turkey pan, remote oil filter setup, hi-volume oil pump and a 427 Cobra road race oil pan. The engine builder claims that the engine puts out approximately 500 horsepower and 525 lb-ft of torque. It is paired to a David Kee-built 4-speed Toploader transmission. This car is a rare weight saving Carbon Fiber hybrid offering carbon fiber doors, hood and trunklid.
