This is an original 1966 with a block number matching the year of the car, a 327 El Camino in very good original shape. Of course certain parts have been painted but this is a no rust, solid original surviving car that hasn't been mangled or modified.
Original 327
Original AC car
Original Hurst Shifter 4 speed transmission
Shaker hood
I bought this car 6 years ago from a retired police officer in Lake Okeechobee area and it came with all new exterior chrome, new interior, and paint as he had planned on restoring the car. He never did and he sold it to me with everything together.
I have redone the interior with new door cards, new seat cover, new carpet, reinstalled the windshield and gasket with new chrome trim, we insulated the cab so it gets nice and cold with the factory AC.
I installed Baer disc brakes in the front with a new brake reservoir
I have installed new intake, carburetor, from summit with a better air cleaner that allows it to breath much better
New MSD distributor
New belts and billet fan mount
New oil pan gasket, valve cover gaskets, and front and rear main seals
New clutch, pressure plate, and resurfaced the flywheel
The car currently rides on lowering springs but comes with the original ride height springs
As you can see in the pics it comes with two sets of rims and tires, one custom that offers 18" up front and 20" in the rear
The main wheels have Coker classic redline tires all around
The car has dings, fades, and scrapes and could use a new paint job and comes with all the exterior chrome new if you want to do that but I prefer the patina, dings, and scrapes as it gives the car a cool look.
She runs great and needs nothing except paint if you want a perfect car but the current paint shines and looks great except for the dings.
