This is a 2 owner 1966 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport coupe. It has 58k original miles. It was purchased new in Caldwell, Idaho at Burns Chevrolet.
This car is mostly original with the exception of some modifications. It has the matching numbers big block 396 engine(vin stamped on engine) and the original TH400 automatic transmission. Has a 12 bolt rearend. Car is equipped with factory seat belts, power windows(works great), power steering, had power brakes but now has power disc brakes all the way around. Has vintage air conditioning(works great). The disc brakes and air conditioning was installed last year. Torque thrust wheels we’re added when the disc brakes were added. Car runs and drives great. Everything works on the car except clock and the radio needs a new speaker. Previous owner put a EDELBROCK carburetor, intake, and air cleaner. He also replaced the original valve covers with Chevrolet big block valve covers. It has the original paint and interior. The paint is ermine white and in good original condition. It does have some chips, scratches, some minor bubbles on the lower area of the fender. It also has some minor surface rust and bubbling developing on the bottom of rear windshield. These are the typical areas of these cars from water sitting there. I have added pictures of these areas. The original floors and trunk is in good condition and rust free. The rear floor pans have a dent in them. Probably from driving over something at some point. The trunk has some minor surface rust on top from water coming in through the seal of the trunk. Does not have any rust holes. The interior is in good original condition. It does have a rip in the driver seat. Their is some minor fading in the seats. It has a padded dash and the dash has 2 very minor cracks in the middle area. Not very visible. Carpet is showing it’s age but not in bad condition. The car has been garaged it’s whole life.
