For sale is a great example of America's most iconic sports car. This 1966 Ford Mustang GT Fastback has been well looked after and well preserved. The 289 cu in (4.7l) V8 engine starts right up and runs strong, and the automatic transmission shifts smoothly through each gear. The motor has been fitted with a number of Edelbrock performance upgrades, which have helped wake up the V8 power plant. The car is painted its original Wimbledon White with Fastback Black standard leather interior. This is the original color combination as seen on the original affixed body tag. The interior is in very good condition with no tears or significant flaws in the seats. The rest of the interior is in similarly good shape with only minor noticeable flaws including some scuffs next to the rear bench seat. It has been fitted with a custom aftermarket radio and Blaupunkt speakers which function well and sound great. This Mustang GT looks great and drives even better.
