1966 Shelby Cobra - West Coast 427 'Stallion-style'Cobra.Built in 1992-1995.
This car was designed from the ground up to provide perfect 50-50% front/rear weight balance with a big block motor. The tremendously rigid TIG-welded tubular steel space frame has a monocoque backbone providing torsional stiffness while maintaining safety energy zones of controlled penetration.
The 1/4 single-piece fiberglass construction of the main body along with the double-walled doors, ood and trunk provide superior strength yet lighter weight. Additional driver and passenger safety features include a FULL roll bar that integrates directly into the frame, ouble wall construction throughout the tunnel and firewall, substantial steel subframe within the doors designed to minimize side crash impacts, nd a custom aluminum fuel cell safely isolated from potential collision.
