From the late 70s to the mid 1990s he built just over 100 Cobra 427 replicas. Butler Cobras are known for their strong chassis, excellent build quality, safety and superb handling with 50/50 weight distribution. Butler Cobra #53 is powered by a Holman-Moody built 427 side oiler engine and equipped with a heavy duty Doug Nash 5 speed manual transmission, Wilwood disc brakes up front, Jaguar independent rear suspension with inboard disc brakes and Kelsey-Hayes pin drive knock-off wheels. The Cobra must be seen and driven to fully appreciate. Outstanding build quality throughout. Approximately 11,000 miles since built.
