Up for sale is my 1967 Ford Mustang GTA Fastback
Beautifully restored in it's factory color of Brittany Blue metallic.
Brittany blue is a stunning color and paired with the GT package and it
really turns heads. This car is a GTA since it came from the factory with an
automatic transmission. 1967 was the only year Ford designated a GT optioned
car with an automatic trans, thus the A in GTA.
This Mustang has it's original 289 engine and transmission. Still has the original
2bbl Autolite carburetor. Many will claim you couldn't get the GT Equipment Group
with the 289 C code 2V. Many were not ordered this way but you could do it.
Hard to find a 67 GT or GTA 289 2V Mustang let alone a very original one.
This Fastback is just like it rolled off the assembly line and matches the Marti Report.
A few nice upgrades have been done over the years which include steel style "GT" wheels,
the HiPerformance chrome engine dress up kit and an upper console.
The paint on the Fastback is extremely nice. It is smooth
as glass and has a nice deep shine. It does have a few paint chips here and there from use
over the years. Most have been touched up and are hard to find. There is a very minor
ding on the front passenger fender that can only been seen from a certain angle.
This Fastback came very well optioned from the factory as can be seen on the Marti report.
One very rare option the car has is the convenience control group. The few Mustangs
that did come with this option had them removed and tossed years ago. This Mustang
still maintains the majority of the guts of the system.
The Mustangs runs and drives great. Pulls very strong for a 2V 289. Transmission shifts
smooth, power steering is smooth and quiet and the power disc brakes stop the car like they should.
All lights and gauges work.
Anyone would be proud to call this Fastback theirs and any collector would be glad to have it
part of their collection.
If you are a serious buyer and would like to see a video of the car running
