The only engine available was the 430 cu in (7.0 L) V8 carried over from the Mark V. It was bored and stroked to 462 cubic inches in 1966 & 1967s, becoming the largest-displacement engine ever used in a Ford Motor Company passenger car. 462.0 cu in. | 7.6 L. 340 HP @ 4600 RPM. New for 1966 was Fords C6 automatic, designed for use in big block, high-horsepower V8 engines including this 1967. 2 - Granada Yellow (81444) driver quality paint. Beautiful Faux wood gain used in the door panels contributed to the Luxury and Elegance. Not used on a Lincoln since 1951, the rear doors were rear hinged (suicide doors). To warn drivers of open doors, a Door Ajar warning light in the dashboard was used, as seen on many modern automobiles. With a vacuum-operated central locking system the rear door was latched to a B-pillar.
