A real deal '67 GTX convertible listed in a national registry. One of only 680 built for the US (There were a few more sold in Canada). Original 440 engine, 727 transmission and rear end. The engine and trans were rebuilt in 2015. The interior is mostly new (90%) and the top was replaced in 2015. The front suspension and 4 wheel brakes with master were done in 2016. The car was stripped to bare metal and repainted in 2017. All chrome and trim was restored or replaced. New tires including a matching spare all on correct vintage Magnum 500 wheels. Many new or restored parts - too much to list.
Power brakes, power steering and power top. Everything works with exception of the original AM radio.
For you purists: The color is not original. The previous owner changed it from a soft yellow to black. When I had the car redone, I elected to keep the black as it is a stunningly beautiful car in black versus the original baby crap yellow. The Magnum 500 wheels were an option in '67. This car was born with steel wheels and small hubcaps. Other than that, this is a very original car. Its never been hopped up although the potential is there if you choose to go there.
It runs and drives excellent. Smooth, reliable and strong running. It catches attention everywhere it goes. I have a binder full of data on this car as well as '67 GTX in general. You will get everything including sales brochures. I replaced the fender tag for aesthetic reasons but I have the original tag. Clear title in hand with current registration.
