For those who know how difficult it is to perfect a show quality BLACK paint finish this one has it won hands down. This truck has had significant body work to perfect all gaps, lines and extensive panel blocking before applying its pristine (single stage) show quality BLACK finish. This C-10 has that desirable "wet look" with a gloss that clearly enhances its laser straight body lines and perfected panel gaps. Body work also included a brand-new tailgate & upgraded front and rear glass to Feslers gasket-less style windows for an enhanced modern clean look, all body work was completed in 2016. This truck is road ready with plenty of power from its Big Block 396, new 700r4 transmission and rebuilt upgraded 31 spline posi-traction rear differential. Braking has also received upgrade to include 4-wheel disc with power assist. The truck has received several stages of overhaul since its current owner acquired it in 2014, the 396 came with the purchase but quickly received a new Edelbrock intake and carburetor, MSD Ignition and aluminum radiator to ensure optimized cooling. At the same time the new 700r4 transmission and upgraded rear end, shocks, springs and braking components were installed while maintaining the original factory suspension design - all completed 2014. 2015/2016 paint and interior upgrades were completed as well as LED lights. For those familiar with these trucks and more importantly the typical fuel Oder in the cab from the tank being mounted within the cabin - this truck has been modified to re-locate the fuel tank to the rear of the bed (outside undercarriage) thus eliminating this issue, this is a very common and desirable modification for these vehicles. Overall, the current owner enhancements were complete in 2016 and the truck has only been driven 500 miles since. This C-10 is ready for a new home, for those familiar this truck fits that desirable spike in C-10 Short bed interest that has gained and maintained a solid standing in the market.
