The original prototype was built with a 383 engine and automatic
transmission, and yellow in color. This vehicle has been upgraded to triple black color
combination, and a 440 Cu. In. engine with four speed transmission. The donor car for
this restoration was a 1968 Coronet 500 convertible with a 318 engine and A904
automatic transmission. This vehicle is rare in it’s own right. Only 1,557 were built in
1968.
The exterior, interior, top, engine and drivetrain have been totally disassembled and
rebuilt or restored. The suspension has been restored. The floor pans and underside of
vehicle are not body color. They have been refinished in frame black to replicate factory
appearance.
In present condition, this vehicle is capable of competing successfully in expositions,
displays, exhibits, or shows.
