This 1968 Ford Mustang  Special has been with the seller for less than one year and is powered by a 289ci Ford V8 engine backed by an automatic transmission. 

EXTERIOR - FEATURES

This California Special Mustang is finished in Acapulco Blue (code D) as verified by the door trim tag and the standard Marti report. Features include chrome bumpers, a grille with fog lamps, hood pins, hood scoops with integrated turn signals, and a fender-mounted antenna. Additional features include white accent stripes with GT/CS logos, California Special emblems, a remote driver-side mirror, rocker trim, a fiberglass trunk lid with a spoiler, fiberglass quarter panel end caps, and a fiberglass taillight panel with Shelby Mustang-style sequential taillights. The seller notes that paint correction on the majority of the exterior was completed three months ago.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of polished aluminum 5-spoke wheels is wrapped in Cooper Cobra Radial G/T raised-white-letter tires.

INTERIOR - FEATURES

The front buckets and the rear seat are upholstered in light blue and dark blue vinyl. Features include blue carpeting with black floor mats, a blue center console with an automatic shifter, and blue door panels with manual window cranks. Additional features include an AM radio, a blue steel dashboard with a dark blue top pad, a light blue padded steering wheel with a horn ring, power steering, and manual brakes.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 289ci Ford V8 "C code" engine with a 2-barrel carburetor backed by an automatic transmission. Underhood features include high-performance-style chrome valve covers and air cleaner and a windshield washer.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Mustang is factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. A full-length dual-exhaust system exits at the rear. Handling is managed by power steering and braking is provided by manual drums at all four corners.
