Head Turning ‘69 Z/28

This Z/28 takes you back to the Chevy showrooms of the late 60’s.  The color, the stance, the absolute beauty of the 69 Camaro body, and of course that Z/28 package.  This car has all of them.  This is a buy, enjoy, and hold.  It’s all there.

Paint and Chrome

Treated to a rotisserie restoration, the car was resprayed in dynamic Cortez Silver with black Z/28 stripes, complemented with a black vinyl top, as original.

After cleaning, the original floors were lightly undercoated.  It approaches show quality and is free of any visible structural rust or corrosion.

The chrome is very nice, as is the stainless trim.

Interior

The interior black vinyl upholstery is the original interior and is in excellent condition.  The car is equipped with a center console and full instrumentation including a tach.

Engine

The engine is a 302-290hp V-8 not original to the car, but is original to the correct year. The motor starts right up and delivers a whole herd of ponies when you put your foot into it.

Transmission

The 4-speed M-20 Muncie transmission is a factory warranty replacement and is mated to an original 12-bolt limited slip rear end.

Safety and Comfort features

The car has power front disc brakes to bring this car to a quick and straight stop.

The safety features—lights, turn signals, wipers—work; the clock and horn will require attention.

The radial tires have most of their tread left and look great on the steel wheels.

A Great Example of THE American Pony Car!

Nothing personifies the ‘60s more than the Camaro, and of those Camaros, the Z/28 has become the iconic example.  Finished in gleaming Cortez Silver, our 1969 Z/28 looks like it can’t wait to get out on the road to show why these cars perfected the Pony Car concept.  Nimble, quick and beautiful, this Z/28 will get smiles and waves wherever it goes, whether to a show, a cruise-in or a trip to get ice cream.
