This 1969 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Tribute has been upgraded to one of the coolest styles around. And as you look at the driver-oriented interior, coordinated appearance, and awesome small block power, you see the full package is also one of the best all-around performers. We wouldnt call this an Eleanor Mustang since the later coupe has a mean look. But when you do it in Pepper Gray you cant help but see this as akin to an icon. In fact, with the black stripe package and Cobra-style wheels, you really cant help but think about Eleanor... and thats why we love its style. This Shelby tribute has details inside and out that are great for classic Mustangs, and then puts its own unique twist on it. So this car is both vintage and distinct all in the first glance. They took extra time with details on this GT500 upgrade. So, you get the main items like the front overhang, fiberglass hood with NACA scoops, side scoops, and a well-integrated spoiler. And this also takes it up a notch with great pony car details like the chin splitter and louvered rear windows. Its an overall package that looks speedy and likes to prove it on the streets. So its very much a driver-ready car. Thats why the classic-looking alloys are modern 18-inch wheels with new modern ZR-rated sport tires. Not only do the black stripes and accessories look great against the gunmetal gray paint, but the full black interior does, too. The good carpeting and headliner look nice, and you can make easy updates to other components if you so desire. But the reason they dont matter quite as much is because this is a car made for driving. So the investments focus on the power pony experience with Corbeau front racing seats, a wood-rimmed Lecarra steering wheel, a B&M shifter, auxiliary readouts, and a large AutoMeter tach with shift light mounted prominently in the middle of the dash. The engine bay has a clean presentation. And polished pieces like the air grabber and cast valve covers are there to let you know theres some nice power here, too. This is Fords mighty 351 cubic-inch block. Its said to be upgraded to a 408ci stroker, and it certainly feels that level of powerful. But thats also because it has the right go-fast goodies, like a Holley four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock RPM intake, and long tube headers. Plus, you can tell theres an upgraded cam by the added performance and the sweet sound of the dual exhaust. And everything from the Milodon oil pan to the traction bars tells you this is a build done for power driving. And features like the three-speed automatic transmission and front disc brakes help make this a better cruiser. Currently on a rebuilt title, this Mustang has certainly has some added flair, and makes for a terrific custom power classic that you know needs to be in your garage. Call today!!!
