1970 DODGE CHALLENGER R/T  440 SIX PACK

This 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T is a Real "U" Code 440 Four-Barrel Car That has been Completely Restored And Modified. Is In Mint Condition.The Correct NOM rebuilt engine now has the legendary Six Pack (three Holley two-barrel carbs on an Edelbrock intake manifold) induction with a Shaker Hood .Indy Heads.Indy Cam. Dual Fan Over Sized Radiator.  Milodon Pro Touring 7 Quart Mopar Big Block Oil Pan.  Brand New 5 Speed Tremec Transmission.

The 440-cu.in. OHV V8 was originally a 375-horseower, single four-barrel model but it has been upgraded to a triple-carburetor Six Pack. The "U" fifth digit of the VIN indicates that this Challenger is a real code U86 440 R/T car (it was decoded and documented by Mopar expert Galen Govier). The engine has been totally rebuilt, with approximately 2,000 miles of use since the rebuild. Estimates the output at 560 horsepower. A single throttle pump starts the engine, which “runs excellently  .The new Tremec five-speed shifts excellently,

The Green Go hue on this Challenger was one of the wildest colors. The factory build sheet lists the original color code as "DY3" which decodes to Yellow Gold (a better color for a sleeper).The sheetmetal is “all original” and the car was “completely restored body and frame is “solid and rust-free. Spectacular, flawless, and mint” to describe the paint condition. The car has a Shaker hood and a Go Wing rear spoiler. The glass and seals are excellent.

The interior has been restored to original factory issue that came on the car. The black vinyl seats are in mint condition,  the carpet and headliner are “excellent.” The gauges and heater work and the original radio is still in the dash, although it has been bypassed to a modern stereo in the glovebox. The car has a factory center console with a pistol-grip shifter. This Dodge Challenger R/T  came with factory options Tinted Windows.The Optional Factory Power Steering.Power Brakes, have been totally rebuilt. Everything on this  Dodge Challenger R/T has been restored. 

The new  suspension is “excellent with very few miles since it was completely restored to factory specs.” 

The shocks, bushings, and brakes are all excellent .The car runs on BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires with only around 2,00 miles on them.  The Rallye road wheels are in mint condition
