Vehicle Description
1970 Oldsmobile
Cutlass Convertible! Powered by the infamous Rocket 350 V8 engine,
this baby is packed with options! A/C, power steering, power front
disc brakes, power convertible top, rally wheels, and radial tires
are a good start to that options list.
Inside is stock except for some added gauges and a Retrosounds
radio in the dash. This provides AM/FM radio with todays sound
quality, but the looks of a factory original radio. The black vinyl
interior is in great shape and very comfortable. You can put the
power convertible top up or down with the push of a switch, and
cover it with the top boot when it is down for a clean, buttoned up
look.
Under the hood is clean and mostly stock with the Rocket 350
painted in gold, a chrome air cleaner, and factory stickers on the
radiator support. This car runs and drives fantastic and has been
used as a local car show by the current owner for many years. It
has been garage kept and very well taken care of.
A new steering gear box, engine rebuild, convertible top, radio,
and upholstery have all been done by the current owner within the
last few years. There are about 1,500 miles on the engine since it
was rebuilt with new gaskets, rings, bearings, and rebuilt heads. A
442-style hood has been added with hood pins to give it that
aggressive 1970s muscle car appeal! You could easily add the
spoiler and stripes if you wanted to make this into a full-blown
442 tribute! BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires with raised white letters
look fantastic and perform even better. They wrap the factory rally
wheels with trim rings which are always a hit with collectors!
