A very rare GM A body option is the “Night Watch” switch which is a feature seen on cars of today that dims the headlights after a vehicle is shut off in the garage. This unique option worked with use of capacitor linked to oil pressure to time it perfectly and allowed a person illumination from the headlights to safely roam about the vehicle after exiting  and gathering your belongs. Keep in mind this technology was way before key fobs and was state of the art for 1970. Most importantly its recoded on the Build sheet along with the frame rails of the convertible top being painted to match the interior upholstery as many would know most all times these pieces are standard black. The car only lacks 3 options Cruise Control, 8 track and Power bucket seat. We are left to believe this special order was a promo car of some type or executive purchase to have such uncommon components. The car is powered by its original number matching 350 V8 producing 310hp and 390 lbs of torque, mated to its original transmission. The car is simply a dream to drive has power front disc brakes and offers excellent gas mileage with its 2.56:1 rear end gear ratio. Its exterior finish was not easy feat for the restorers team, he commissioned a very high level paint job in its Original Color of Azure Blue   consisting of proper and precise metal work, naval ship grade primer with 4 coast of both primer and color, with wet sanding throughout the process to ensure longevity and a quality finish. Overall, the car has undergone painstakingly rigorous restoration with a high level of attention to detail.
