Vehicle Description

1971 GMC Sprint
I said I would never sell this car. Things change.

Most original well documented GMC Sprint you will find. Just like the el camino ElCamino.
Low mileage. No rust. Clean undercarriage front to back that is all original and "not" been all painted up, and only factory undercoating. You could wash it with a sponge and soapy water and then paint it if so desired. No pitting on the frame or A-frames or other components. (see pics).
Under hood looks like it did in 1971 with a few miles on it. Car sat for decades at a dealership. Then purchased in 2020 from his estate.  Upgraded parts for dependability and regular use (tires, water pump, fuel pump, hoses, belts, A-frame bushings, brakes (frt disc), AC components and much much more). And as you know, quality replacement maintenance parts and labor can add up and be very expensive today. Certainly something to consider when looking for a classic you can count on.
Numbers matching drivetrain. 350/245hp (last year for higher hp); turbo 350 trans.
Very nice original colors inside and out (light palm green #42-sandlewood interior#714). Interior and exterior excellent (can't say show, however, it does "NOT" need to be painted nor any interior work or mechanical to be done). Show and Shine worthy. No accidents (original sheet metal). No dents. Doors open/close, unlock/lock like in 1971. Door strikers and door hinge rollers original and excellent. All chrome as well as emblems are excellent (no pitting). All glass excellent. Dash and components excellent. Non smoker. Never smoked in.
Documentation:  Build sheet, Protecto Plate (P-O-P), factory dealers invoice, warranty book, Sprint specific owners manual & specific parts books (rare), key knockouts and much other documentation (see pics). This was sold by Ralph and Sons Oldsmobile Co. out of Chickasha Oklahoma. Then purchased back by them and kept in dealership till his death in 2020. I have a copy of the assignment title to this dealer indicating date first sold (1971) and date re-purchased by them (1981).
Low mileage 59,000; (Florida exempt on title). The bed looks like it did in 1971. (I have a rubber bed mat if you want it). Never used to haul anything. Original F78x14 spare tire and wheel and jack. 350/245hp 2 barrel and Turbo 350 trans. 2.56, 10 bolt rear (all original with VIN numbers stamped). AC (R134 freon) cold, ps, pb, Delco radio (front and rear speaker added), NOS Delco Jac Pac shock system. Cruise nite/day ready. Comfortable AC for day and heat/def for nite.  New 3 core HD radiator and fresh antifreeze good to minus 20.
All upgrading work performed within the last 3000 miles and approximately a little more than 2 years ago.
In November I put RWL tires and NEW rally wheels (15x7) with NOS trim rings and excellent short caps on it. I like that look better. However if you would rather have the original look (see pic), the GMC hubcaps on new white wall tires with NEW powder coated stock 14" wheels, I would be happy to switch them out. They have approximately 2500 miles on them but are excellent and are balanced and ready to go. (the GMC hubcaps look NOS but they are not)
In summary:
Obviously I can't say this car is perfect as it is 50 years old. However it is exceptionally nice and I don't think you can find another in better original condition than this one. You can be proud of this car wherever you take it.
And it drives and handles like it did 50 years ago.
If you're going to spend the money for a classic it might as well be a good one that has not been all jumbled up and made to look good but is not, I would think. Come take a look.
Clear Florida title in my name.

I have lots of pictures if you want something specific sent to your email to look at. I don't do the phone thing for pics.
If you like the colors, it is rare to find one like this. If you don't like the colors then thank you for looking anyway.
