1973 Jaguar XJ12 This Rare vehicle was reconditioned by the previous owner in 2018-2019. He passed away recently, and we ended up with 2 of his 12 classic Jaguars. This one is the more rare of the two. 1600 Jaguar XJ12s were produced for the 1973 model year. Around 400 are know to survive today, worldwide. This 1973 Jaguar XJ12 was completely disassembled and refurbished. All new parts for the V12 engine. The transmission was rebuilt by Vintage Jaguar in Blackfoot, Id. They are a specialty component rebuilder of the highest caliber, and completed a perfect rebuild on the Borg Warner model 12 gearbox. Carbs were rebuilt at Bench testing has been performed, confirming all components working in accordance with each other. The body was stripped chemically and repainted. No rust was found during the process. The suspension system was completely rebuilt with all new parts, including the brake system. The car was meticulously reassembled over the course of a year. Old parts that could be refurbished were utilized wherever possible. Otherwise, brand new parts were installed where necessary. T
