The car was stripped to the bare tub, all original parts were kept, restored where required. Any parts necessary were either acquired and replaced with original OEM or with replacement parts when necessary. The engine is a 2.7 which is (as best can be determined) a factory replacement (there is no Stamped Engine). The engine received a leak down test and a complete engine out service of seals, chain, tensioner, etc, (a complete list of parts and services performed can be provided). This is a very fine example of an original 1973 911 t Targa with a COA. It retains the original 5 speed transmission and is restored in the original factory spec colors. These are becoming quite rare and continue to increase in value and collectibility. I would argue that you cannot find an example in this condition (as acquired) and restore to this level for the price offered here. Serious offers are considered within reason. Original documents for the history of the car are available and will be included with the sale. There is not an original owners manual or toolkit. The true mileage prior to restoration on the VDO gauge is available.
