Vehicle Description
1975 Triumph TR6 was acquired 15 years ago by its previous owner,
who performed a mechanical and cosmetic refurbishment. The work
included a repaint in Dodge Viper Blue along with installation of
Mazda Miata seats, refreshed suspension and braking systems, Konig
Rewind wheels, cruise control, and an audio system. Power is from a
numbers-matching 2.5L inline-six featuring a resurfaced cylinder
head as well as a Goodparts GP2 performance camshaft, Moss exhaust
system, high-capacity oil pump, Pertronix electronic ignition, and
more. This TR6 is offered by the selling dealer with several show
awards, a British Heritage Trust certificate, numerous receipts,
and a clean Ohio title.Originally Delft Blue, the body was
repainted in Dodge Viper Blue under stripes and TR6 decals
approximately 15 years ago. Other work included rechroming both
bumpers, replacing the front valance, refinishing the grille, and
adding a pair of Moss side mirrors. New stainless steel trim was
installed and the side marker lights were refinished during the
refurbishment. Most weatherstripping and seals are replacement
items according to the seller. A navy blue Robbins Sunfast soft top
features a removable plastic rear window and is shown in the
gallery below. Konig Rewind wheels wear newer 16? BFGoodrich T/A
tires at each corner. The doors reportedly retain original-style
Triplex glass and the windshield was replaced under previous
ownership.Interior appointments include a pair of Mazda Miata seats
covered in black/silver Katzkins leather with built-in headrest
speakers. The dash pad and black carpets were also replaced during
the refurbishment. The walnut dashboard was reportedly custom made
by the previous owner along with the gearshift knob and turn signal
stalk. The audio system consists of a JVC CD changer with remote and
a pair of Pioneer speakers. An Audiovox cruise control system is
installed and said to be functional along with other lights,
gauges, and accessories.
