The Metallic Silver and Raven Black 1979 Bronco Ranger XLT came to us as a partially completed project that had a ton of money spent on all the right parts to build a high-end driver Bronco. So, we completed the build on this Bronco.

The heart of this beast is a fully rebuilt 400 with Edelbrock aluminum heads, Edelbrock intake, long tube headers, an 8-quart fabricated oil pan, an upgraded power steering pump, and much more. We added Holley Sniper fuel injection to make it a turnkey driver. The Air Conditioning system has been converted to R-134 and recharged.

The suspension and steering have been completely gone through. Bushings were replaced as needed. New brake calipers were fit. Six new Rancho adjustable shocks were fit. New Rancho steering damper and Redhead steering box were fit to address any steering concerns.

The exterior of the truck was repainted in 2014 at the beginning of the restoration and shows very well with minor imperfections. The bright work and trim are all original and shows well. The factory Slotted Mag wheels are fit with Maxxis M/T tires.

The interior of this Bronco is mostly original. The star of the show is the factory high back captain’s chairs that show very well for their age! The carpet, door panels, center console and dash pad also appear to be original. We have added a Retrosound Bluetooth Radio to the factory dash.

This Bronco is set up to be the ultimate driver.
