This beauty has just 4,041 since a restoration that included the
body, paint, interior, brakes, steering, suspension, and complete
drivetrain.
The exterior is gorgeous in House of Kolors Lapis Blue, which looks
blue in some light, purple in others, and has just the right amount
of metal flake that dances in the sun. A pinstripe breaks up the
body nicely and a tonneau cover has been added to keep the bed
clean and dry. The bed has a spray in bedliner so it is very
usable! Ridler wheels give this truck a modern look along with a
cowl hood. All the glass throughout the truck is new as well.
The inside is ready to show as well with a black and gray color
scheme. The interior features a vinyl and cloth bench seat, modern
AM/FM radio, Dakota Digital gauges that light up blue to match the
truck! Vintage Air A/C has also been added to make this truck
enjoyable all year round.
Under the cowl hood is a rebuilt 350 engine that has been bored to
a 355 CID V8 with a Stage II performance cam from Comp Cams,
SpeedPro flat top hypereutectic pistons, Moly rings, an Edelbrock
4-barrel carburetor, aluminum Assault intake, HEI distributor,
full-length headers running to dual exhaust, and an aluminum
radiator to keep it all cool. Possibly the coolest part about this
truck is that the 355 is backed by a Muncie M21 4-speed
transmission! You dont see that every day! Power steering and
power disc brakes always make driving more enjoyable. This truck
made the 2 hour round trip from the sellers home to our showroom
twice in the last few days at highway speeds with no issues. It is
built right!
The original owners manual and RPO sticker are in the glovebox and
the truck comes with a stack of documentation from the build. You
will have a hard time finding a cleaner square body, and there is
no way you could build a truck this nice for this kind of
money!
