Vehicle Description

Red Pininfarina-styled bodywork is contrasted by a black removable targa panel, roof spoiler, and bumpers. Additional details include dual electric side mirrors, a heated rear window, four exhaust outlets, and pop-up headlights that are shown both raised and lowered. Various chips in the paint are shown in the gallery below.

Cromodora 16” wheels measure 7” wide up front and 8” at the rear, and are mounted with staggered Dunlop SP Sport tires that the seller says should be replaced due to age. A full-size spare is secured in the front compartment. Braking is handled by ventilated discs at each corner, and a brake fluid flush was performed in June 2021.

The cockpit houses sport seats trimmed in black leather along with matching upholstery over the door panels, dash, console, and rear firewall. Black carpeting is protected by matching Ferrari-branded floor mats. Amenities include air conditioning, power windows and locks, and a Sony cassette stereo. The seller notes that the windows operate slowly.

A leather-wrapped Momo steering wheel frames Veglia Borletti instrumentation including a 180-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7,700-rpm redline, a quartz clock, and gauges monitoring coolant temperature, fuel level, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 40k miles, 25k of which have been added by the seller.

The mid-mounted transverse 2.9-liter V8 features dual overhead camshafts on each cylinder bank, 32 valves, Bosch fuel injection, and Marelli Digiplex ignition. The fuel distributor was rebuilt and the injectors and spark plugs replaced in 2011. A June 2021 service included replacement of the timing belts, air filter, and accessory belts as well as oil, coolant, and fuel changes.

The catalytic converter has been removed according to the seller. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential.
