This 1985 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 was acquired by the seller on BaT in July 2019 and was subsequently fitted with an H55F five-speed manual transmission mated to a resealed two-speed transfer case. Additional work included installing a clutch, upgraded audio components, a remote locking system, and a Gamiviti roof rack. The truck was refinished in Freeborn Red under previous ownership and is powered by a 4.2-liter 2F inline-six, while features include Old Man Emu shocks and a steering dampener, 15? polished steel wheels, Dynamat sound deadening, and air conditioning.
The truck was repainted in two-stage Freeborn Red and received replacement window seals and windshield under previous ownership. Exterior features include Land Cruiser-branded mud flaps, chrome bumpers with black end caps, and headlamp washers.
Factory 15? steel wheels are mounted with 31×10.5” BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires at each corner. Work conducted under previous ownership included installing an Old Man Emu steering dampener and shocks as well as servicing the braking system with front rotors and pads and rear drums and shoes. A Gamiviti roof rack was installed by the seller.
The seats feature striped gray cloth seating surfaces, and Dynamat sound deadening was applied to the roof, floors, doors, and rear cargo area under previous ownership. The air-conditioning system has been converted to R134a refrigerant. Work commissioned by the seller included installing a power locking system, as well as sound system upgrades including a four-channel amplifier, door speakers, and 6×9? cargo area panel speakers. The three-spoke steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer with an inset six-digit odometer showing 65k miles, approximately 2,500 of which were added by the seller.
The 4.2-liter 2F inline-six was serviced with an oil and filter change in preparation for the sale. Power is routed through an H55F five-speed manual transmission that was installed under current ownership, with additional work conducted at the same time including a transfer-case reseal and a replacement clutch, rear main seal, and oil pan gasket.
