Hard to find restored VW Vanagon.The power train has been replaced with a 5 cylinder AAF 2.5L Eurovan engine and a 3 speed 3.27 ring and pinion Super Flier automatic transmission. Transmission also has a cooler and stainless steel skid plate. Replaced at 162871 miles, only 41403 miles.....Upgraded wheels, ASA 8x16 with Porsche disc front brakes and Eurovan big disc brakes on the rear, and upgraded front and rear suspension with Bilstein shock absorbers.There is also new exhaust and steering rack.All modifications were done by Certified VW German mechanic Detlev Hanschke.The camper itself consist of a recently replaced pop top with large ventilated zip windows, room for two.There is a full bed below, also for two, and custom country cabinets with a norcold compressor refrigerator, two burner propane stove, a sink with a fresh water tank and a full height cabinet.There is a popex forced air cabin heater with a large lp tankOn the top you get a 100W Renology Eclipse solar panel to power two deep cycle marine 6V 224 amp AGM batteries and a Blue Sea electromagnetic charge controller relay.On the vehicle body you will find that both windshields were recently replaced, with rubber trim replaced, including around the back door and passenger side windows.
