The weather seals are in good condition with no water leaks present while all lighting, from the curved headlights to the upright taillamps, are in original and good condition.
INTERIOR The Opal Gray cloth interior is original to this F-150 XLT and the manually-adjustable seats show little wear on the upholstery. The analog instrument cluster with its digital odometer and all switches and controls for the power windows and door locks are in good working order. The original AM/FM/cassette radio works the factory speakers and sits adjacent to the column-mounted shifter. In back, the original painted bed area shows very little wear. The AC blows cold air and the heater works as it should. CHASSIS Underpinning this F-150 is a sturdy full-frame chassis that features Fords Twin I-Beam suspension in front with forged steel transverse arms and stamped steel lateral links. A Ford 8.8-inch solid rear axle with a limited-slip differential housing 3.31 gearing is suspended by leaf springs. Power-assisted front disc/rear drum brakes provide confident stops, and hide behind the factory forged aluminum alloy wheels that are fitted with new BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2C tires, sized 225/75R15. The new matching spare is tucked underneath the bed. All components of the undercarriage are in very good working order with minor superficial corrosion and has been undercoated in the past.
