Vehicle Description
The 993 C4S features wider rear bodywork in comparison with the
standard Carrera as well as a front air dam derived from the
contemporary Turbo. "Additional equipment includes fog lights,
heated power-adjustable mirrors, a power-operated sunroof, a rear
window wiper, and dual exhaust outlets.
Silver-finished 18" Turbo Twist wheels wear 4S center caps and are
mounted with 225/40 front and 285/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport
tires. The car features an Automatic Brake Differential (ABD), and
the 993 was the first 911 to feature multi-link rear suspension.
Braking is handled by red-finished Porsche-branded calipers over
cross-drilled rotors at all four corners.
The eight-way power-adjustable front seats are upholstered in Blue
supple leather and are complemented by a color-coordinated center
console, door panels, and carpeting. Amenities include a a Becker
Porsche CD stereo, cruise control, and air conditioning. Wear is
visible on the drivers seat outer bolster and base.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation
including a central tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, a 180-mph
speedometer, a Quarz analog clock, and gauges for oil pressure, oil
temperature, oil level, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer
shows 104k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under
current ownership. The speed-activated rear spoiler dash light
still illuminates at speed.
