EXTERIOR
Body And Paint
While we cannot guarantee original paint, there does not appear to be any evidence of paintwork. The paint is consistent throughout with minimal flaws noted on the front and mirrors in the form of a handful of pencil point-sized chips upon close inspection. The body is straight and free from dings or dents and presents with a deep consistent shine.
Glass And Trim
The glass shows well and is original to the car. There are one or two minor pencil point-sized chips upon close inspection of the windshield. The trim around the windshield retains its correct finish and is in excellent condition. As these can be one of the items to age on 355’s. The emblem’s, badging, trim, grills, and other components are all well preserved and without issues.
Wheels
The wheels appear to be well-kept originals showing no flaws or issues including crack/fade free center caps with the exception of the passenger rear which does show some signs of age.
INTERIOR
Seats And Surfaces
355’s typically do not age well unless carefully kept. The interior is excellent in this example, showing no sticky buttons or finishes anywhere having all been recently refinished. The airbag cover is not warped and the dash is not pulling. The leather covering the door panels, center console, parcel shelf area, seats, etc… is all in excellent condition. The interior is nearly concours quality with minor detailing the only items needed to sustain that statement. The head unit is a Ferrari branded head unit, which can be a rare sight in a 355. Perhaps the only real flaw is the top release which shows some minor scratching along with the seatbelt labels which are frayed. The top is excellent as well, showing only minor light scratching on the rear window from use and storage in the down position.
Functionality And Accessories
Upon testing everything appears to be in correct working order in terms of interior accessory functionality.
ENGINE BAY AND TRUNK
Engine Bay
The engine bay appears very correct with no issues noted beyond expendable items from service being changed and signs of light use.
Trunk Area
The front trunk is complete with all items as delivered including cover, tool kit, tire kit, original books in a pouch, etc… No issues to note.
Underside
The underside shows signs of use but is otherwise in excellent condition with minor scrapes here or there from the few times that it did touch the pavement while transitioning in/out of uneven surfaces. Nothing that requires the attention of any kind.
MECHANICALS
Engine
The engine starts easily, runs strong, and shows no signs of any issues benefiting from a recent engine-out service by the Ferrari Dealership.
Transmission
The transmission benefits from a recent service and needs to be driven and used to bring in smoother operation as everything was recently recalibrated and reset with new components. It can be jumpy at low RPM but functions as intended otherwise.
Brakes And Suspension
The brakes and suspension work as intended with no issues or unwanted noises noted.
Tires
Currently installed are a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sport 265/40ZR18’s on all 4-wheels with date codes of 2019 and plenty of tread left.
