Vehicle Description

Selling our 2001 Plymouth (Chrysler) Prowler Roadster.

Love this car, but we barely get to drive it... so rather than let it sit, we have decided to part with it.

-The car is in incredible condition. Clean title in hand, no accidents or repairs, no dents, original paint.

-Runs perfectly. Never any issues at all. All fluids replaced each year, despite it being barely driven.

-Rare Orange Pearl color. Only 669 made in this color for the US in 2001.

-Rare Plymouth/Chrysler transition version where the hood badge is Plymouth, but has the Chrysler rear bumper which doesn't have "Plymouth" stamped into it. (much cleaner bumper design)

-This year has the upgraded OEM suspension from the factory. Springs were softened and re-calibrated for a smoother ride compared to pre-2001 releases.

-Car has always been stored covered in a garage. Never driven in the rain.

-Original soft top in good condition, with a few blemishes/snag holes where it folds up around the hardware hinges (normal for these cars). I never liked the look of the soft top anyway, hence the hard top.

-A few aftermarket upgrades:

-Custom fiberglass (removable) hard top made and paint matched.

-New Tires since the original are now unsafe due to their age.

-Polished stainless A Arm suspension components in the front.

-Chrome trim around gauge bezels and front grille

-Orange under-glow lighting

-Optima Battery upgrade with charging cable lead for keeping on a battery tender.

-OEM speakers replaced with high end Infinity Kappa audio, along with 1.5 Din high Chrysler specific in-dash CD player. (i will include the original AM/FM cassette stereo as well)

-Comes with 2 full covers, one water/weatherproof and one for interior use made of satin/stretch fabric.

-Will also include a set of new front shocks/struts that i purchased as down the road replacements. The current shocks work fine, but the rubber dust cap has deteriorated a bit, although it doesn't affect performance of the shock.

Aesthetic Flaws:

-The rear window in the hard top is acrylic and has some razor blade scratches from when a shop tried to install a tint on it (scratches around the edge, not in the clear area you see through).  I never liked it anyway, and planned on replacing with glass, just never got around to it.

-A few rock dings on the lower front fascia, one touched up area on the edge of the hard top, and some scrapes under the nose (out of sight unless you look under).

Please ask all questions before purchasing. I vouch that all the above information is true and 100% correct, but i recommend you seeing the car in person first if possible so that both sides are confident in the transaction. If it isn't possible for you to come see it first, perhaps you can arrange for someone to inspect it for you. Or feel free to ask me for any additional photos or info you want to see. This is and has been a dream car of mine so i want to make sure it goes to a nice home. =)

Thank you!
