Vehicle Description

2004 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 extended cab, long box, 4-wheel-drive pickup truck with just under 55,000 miles. This truck is finished in paint code 817K, Sport Red Metallic, over a charcoal leather interior. It is very well appointed with factory leather interior, remote keyless entry, power windows, power locks, power heated-extendable-directional tow mirrors, automated dual climate control, steering wheel controls, rear window defroster, overhead console, under seat rear lockable GM storage cabinet, cruise control, fog lights, clearance lights, satellite radio, and compass-temperature rear view mirror.

Furthermore, having been used as a summer camping vehicle, the truck is extremely clean, showing absolutely no signs of corrosion or rust. It was also professionally undercoated when new, which kept the undercarriage very well preserved. The hitch on the truck looks 100% as new, showing no signs of worn off paint from a receiver or safety chains, leading me to believe the truck has seldom towed anything in its life. The only modifications the truck has are Lucerne stainless steel running boards and Ventshade rain gutter protectors. As for maintenance, the truck has 7 brand new Kelly Edge A/T load range E tires in size 215/85/16 (2 steer, 4 drive, and the spare), fresh fluid check and flushes performed by Cole Chevrolet before delivery to me, and no known issues.

What makes this truck a true “unicorn” is its powertrain. The truck has one of GM’s best pre-emission Duramaxes, the LLY, which is paired to an extremely rare 6 speed MANUAL ZF-650 transmission. The LLY is rated from the factory at 310hp and 520 lb ft of torque. The rear end carries a GT4 3.73 rear end with G80 locker. The powertrain is completely unmolested, having never been tuned or modified. Even rarer is the fact that this truck is absolutely loaded up options wise, as most ZF6 trucks were work truck trim, with no power options and rubber flooring. A manual shift two-speed transfer case rounds out the truck’s mechanical components. It is a dual rear wheel, one ton model, with a GVWR of 11,400 pounds, a cargo capacity of 3487 pounds, and towing capacities of 14,900 pounds and 12,000 pounds fifth wheel and bumper pull respectively.

Lastly, the body on this truck is incredibly nice. The paint shines like new, which can be seen in the pictures, as the truck was only hand washed with no other product applied before photographs were taken. The truck still sports all of its OEM headlight/taillight/marker lenses, and all of its OEM glass. During handwashing I inspected every inch of the truck for a ding/dent/notable scratch and found nothing. The body is laser straight with no imperfections.
