Just over 15k original miles from new. I have owned the car since 2008 when I purchased the car from Mercedes Benz as a Certified Pre-Owned car that had just undergone a 130 point inspection. I purchased a six year, 60,000 mile warranty so nearly its entire life it has been under a bumper to bumper warranty yet needed almost nothing. It has brand new Michelin Pilot Super Sports and a new battery.
Dollar for dollar this is the best Sports GT you can buy. The build quality fit and finish surpass Ferrari, Aston Martin and Porsche and the twin turbo V12, the same basic motor as in the Pagani, is incredibly powerful and can be chip tuned for truly epic levels of performance. The attention to detail is truly stunning.
While Mercedes built just over 169k R230 SL, amazingly for the entire world they only produced 4,106 V12 SL. During the production run red interiors were unusually rare and it is estimated globally Mercedes produced approximately 200 SL V12 cars with a classic silver exterior and a traditional red interior.
