POWERTRAIN
Features a flat six Mezger 3.6L twin turbocharged engine producing 480HP and 460 Lb Ft torque. Dry sump lubrication with external oil tank, double overhead cams with 4 valves per cylinder, VarioCam Plus variable valve timing and life. The twin turbochargers are Porsche’s VTG (Variable Turbine Geometry).
Transmission is Porsche’s Tiptronic S 5 speed with traction management, PSM (Porsche stability management) with ABS, ASR, ABD and MSR.
The suspension is standard sport suspension from Porsche featuring PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management). It has a set of sport springs that lowers the vehicle approximately 1 inch front and rear to RoW specifications. Brakes are factory 6 piston front and 4 piston rear matched in an RS-Orange color with black lettering. A new set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires are wrapped around the factory original 19” Turbo wheels.
The vehicle is an unmolested example with all original factory options and no power modifications done. Recent services including oil & filter, brake fluid, air filter, drive belt, spark plugs, differential oils, transmission fluid have been performed.

INTERIOR & TRIM
The interior on this 997.1 Turbo Cabriolet features original Sport Seats wrapped in black leather with deviated orange stitching. The sport seat backs are also wrapped with black leather and deviated orange stitching. Each headrest has the embossed Porsche emblem giving a nice unique touch.
A full original carbon package is spread throughout including center console, emergency hand brake, cup holder trim, dash vent trim, seat belt pillars, door sills with illuminated Turbo logo, 3 spoke sport steering wheel, tiptronic shift lever, door pocket lids, and A/C vent trim all feature factory carbon fiber. The steering wheel has been upgraded to a 991 leather sport wheel, and the paddle shifters do work with the tiptronic mode! The door panels are wrapped in full leather with orange deviated stitching and carbon fiber trim components.
The dashboard is original black leather with deviated orange stitching. Both door panels feature black leather with carbon door pulls, and leather wrapped speakers with deviated orange stitching.
The factory PCM radio and A/C controls are wrapped with leather as well as the shifter gate in leather with orange deviated stitching. Even the A/C vents are wrapped with leather and have orange stitching around the perimeter.
Everywhere you look on the interior there is an option in either factory carbon fiber or leather with orange stitching. All exclusive options originally ordered on this example.
EXTERIOR
This vehicle is a show stopper. The vibrant PTS RS Orange is a real eye-catcher and is visually striking in person. It’s completely original, with original paint all around. The front bumper had been repainted at one point during a previous ownership, but is very hard to tell.
It’s equipped with a set of original GT2 side skirts, a GT2 style front lip spoiler and original rear Turbo wing. The rear wing is powered by an upgraded electric system (no more hydraulic problems) that works flawlessly.
The convertible top functions correctly with no current defects mechanically. The canvas top was replaced a few months ago with a brand new German canvas.
Front Porsche badge is a custom orange and silver and the rear Turbo emblem is “ghosted” in RS orange for a nice detail.
The factory 19” Turbo wheels have been completely refinished for a perfect appearance and wrapped in new Michelin rubber that has seen less than 50 miles total driving.
Overall this is an outstanding 911 Turbo example. Every power function is working and the vehicle drives like a dream. Don’t let the mileage fool you, the condition does not reflect the mileage. We are more than confident in this vehicle’s performance and appearance.
